1) How to Play Casino Hold’em
Goal: Make the best 5‑card poker hand using two player cards and five community cards to beat the dealer’s hand.
Learn How to Play Casino Hold’em:
Setup
1 standard 52‑card deck (shuffled between rounds or by shoe/continuous shuffler).
You must place an Ante to receive cards. Optional side bet: AA Bonus (pays on player’s pair of Aces or better using first three cards).
Gameplay
Ante (and optional AA Bonus).
Dealer gives you 2 hole cards face‑up and deals 3 community cards (the flop) face‑up.
Decision: Fold (forfeit Ante and AA) or Call by placing a Call bet = 2× Ante.
Dealer reveals 2 more community cards (turn & river) and their 2 hole cards.
Hand evaluation: Best 5‑card hand for you and dealer. Dealer qualifies with a pair of 4s or better (qualification rank may vary slightly by studio).
Settlement
Dealer doesn’t qualify:
Ante pays per Ante paytable (below),
Call pushes (returned),
AA Bonus evaluated separately.
Dealer qualifies: Higher hand wins. Ties push on Ante & Call.
Common paytables
Ante paytable (most common):
Royal Flush – 100:1
Straight Flush – 20:1
Four of a Kind – 10:1
Full House – 3:1
Flush – 2:1
Straight or lower – 1:1
Call bet: 1:1 (even money) if your hand beats the dealer.
AA Bonus (sample):
Royal Flush – 100:1
Straight Flush – 50:1
Four of a Kind – 40:1
Full House – 30:1
Flush – 20:1
Straight – 7:1
Three of a Kind – 7:1
Two Pair – 7:1
Pair of Aces – 7:1
House edge (typical): ~2.1%–2.7% on main game depending on rules/paytable.
Quick tips: Always Call with pair or better, any Ace/King, and most strong draws; folding is correct only with very weak holdings.
1b) Ultimate Texas Hold’em (UTH)
Goal: Beat the dealer with a better 5‑card hand. UTH rewards earlier, larger Play bets.
Bets
Ante and Blind (equal). Optional Trips side bet.
Deal & actions
Receive 2 player cards (face‑down online, face‑up in live). Dealer takes 2 downcards.
Pre‑Flop decision: Check or make a Play bet of 3× or 4× Ante.
Flop (3 community cards): If you checked, you may Play 2× Ante or Check.
Turn & River: If still unchecked, you must Play 1× Ante or fold (forfeit Ante & Blind; Play not placed).
Dealer reveals hand; dealer qualifies with a pair or better (some tables treat any hand as qualified—check rules).
Payouts
Play: 1:1 if your hand beats dealer; push on tie.
Ante: 1:1 if dealer qualifies and you beat dealer; push if dealer doesn’t qualify.
Blind: Paid by paytable when you win with Straight or better; otherwise pushes when you win with less than a straight. Common Blind paytable:
Royal – 500:1
Straight Flush – 50:1
Four of a Kind – 10:1
Full House – 3:1
Flush – 3:2
Straight – 1:1
Trips (side bet): Pays based on your final hand (dealer hand irrelevant). Typical:
Royal 50:1, Straight Flush 40:1, Four 30:1, Full House 8:1, Flush 7:1, Straight 4:1, Trips 3:1; otherwise lose.
House edge (main game): ~2% with optimal strategy; Trips varies by table.
Key strategy idea: The earlier you bet, the more you can wager. Raise 4× with strong starting hands (e.g., any pair, any Ace, most broadway). Use 2× on many flops that hit you; otherwise 1× on river or fold weak.
